Moving together to make shared mobility the first and best option.

The Shared Mobility 2030 Action agenda and Action Network advance shared mobility — shared journeys and shared vehicles — which includes improving access to public transit, on-demand shuttles or buses, ride-on-demand services, carpooling and vanpooling, and carsharing, bikesharing and scooter-sharing.

Over 70 organizations have joined the Agenda’s Action Network.

The problem.

The climate crisis, rising household costs and persistent social, economic, and racial inequality are shaped in no small part by how our roads and streets are designed to prioritize cars over people.

Our fractured communities, crisscrossed and divided by highways and parking lots, make cars seem like the only way to get around. And, while the shift to electric cars is necessary, it’s not enough to solve our systemic mobility problems.

Taking action.

We need more options. We need healthier, more affordable communities and mobility systems that are built around people, not cars.

That’s why we’re inviting all stakeholders to the table in executing the Shared Mobility 2030 Action Agenda.

Now is the time to take action.

How it works.

The Agenda facilitates real cross-industry work and helps members hold themselves accountable through a self-assessment tool, participation in workgroups, development and execution of roadmaps, and contribution to a yearly report that tracks progress towards our goals.

This is a pivotal moment for the future of equitable and accessible transportation.

The Shared Mobility 2030 Action Agenda is as a to-do list that can change, evolve and improve while we’re on the path to making equitable, clean, shared mobility more convenient, more practical, more available, more accessible and more affordable than owning or driving a car.
